Our Services

Asthma treatment

They include albuterol (ProAir HFA, Ventolin HFA, others) and levalbuterol (Xopenex, Xopenex HFA). Short-acting beta agonists can be taken using a portable, hand-held inhaler or a nebulizer, a machine that converts asthma medications to a fine mist. They're inhaled through a face mask or mouthpiece.

COPD treatment

Treatments include: stopping smoking – if you have COPD and you smoke, this is the most important thing you can do inhalers and tablets – to help make breathing easier pulmonary rehabilitation – a specialised programme of exercise and education surgery or a lung transplant – although this is only an option for a very small number of people

Tuberculosis Treatment

The usual treatment is: 2 antibiotics (isoniazid and rifampicin) for 6 months. 2 additional antibiotics (pyrazinamide and ethambutol) for the first 2 months of the 6-month treatment period.

Allergy Treatment

Good allergy treatment is based on your medical history, the results of your allergy tests and how severe your symptoms are. It can include three treatment types: avoiding allergens, medicine options and/or immunotherapy (allergens given as a shot or placed under the tongue).

Breathing related problem

Many breathing problems are long-term (chronic). These include chronic sinusitis, allergies, and asthma. They can cause symptoms such as nasal congestion, a runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, chest congestion, coughing, wheezing, trouble breathing, and shallow breathing.

Bronchitis Treatment

Most of the time, acute bronchitis goes away on its own within a couple of weeks. If yours is caused by bacteria (which is rare), your doctor may give you antibiotics. If you have asthma or allergies, or you’re wheezing, they might suggest an inhaler. This helps open your airways and makes it easier to breathe.

ILD Treatment

Treatment for ILD is based upon the specific ILD diagnosis and the severity of disease. Sometimes, an approach of watchful waiting without drug therapy is appropriate. Many forms of ILD can be treated successfully with medications. Some medications are only appropriate for certain forms of ILD and not others.

Pneumonia Treatment

Mild pneumonia can usually be treated at home with rest, antibiotics (if it's likely be caused by a bacterial infection) and by drinking plenty of fluids. More severe cases may need hospital treatment.

Bronchiectasis treatment

Antibiotics are the most common treatment for bronchiectasis. Oral antibiotics are suggested for most cases, but harder to treat infections may require intravenous (IV) antibiotics. Macrolides are a specific type of antibiotics that not only kill certain types of bacteria but also reduce inflammation in the bronchi.

Pleural effusion / empyema treatment

Antibiotics – All patients with suspected (or diagnosed) parapneumonic effusion or empyema should be treated with antibiotics. Antibiotic therapy should be administered promptly and not delayed for sampling or drainage procedures.

Nebulisation

A nebulizer is a small machine that turns liquid medicine into a mist. You sit with the machine and breathe in through a connected mouthpiece. Medicine goes into your lungs as you take slow, deep breaths for 10 to 15 minutes.

ICD insertion

It is used to continuously monitor and help regulate potentially fast and life-threatening electrical problems with the heart. A transvenous or “traditional” ICD, about the size of a stopwatch, is implanted under the skin.

Bronchoscopy

Bronchoscopy is a procedure that lets doctors look at your lungs and air passages. It's usually performed by a doctor who specializes in lung disorders . During bronchoscopy, a thin tube is passed through your nose/ mouth

Thoracoscopy

Thoracoscopy is a procedure a doctor uses to look at the space inside the chest (outside of the lungs). This is done with a thoracoscope, a thin, flexible tube with a light and a small video camera on the end.

Pleural fluid tapping (thoracicentesis)

Thoracentesis (pleural tap) is a procedure to remove excess fluid from the space between the lungs and the chest wall. This space is called the pleural space. The procedure is done with a needle or a plastic catheter that is inserted through the chest wall.

PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)

Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are noninvasive tests that show how well the lungs are working. The tests measure lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. This information can help your healthcare provider diagnose and decide the treatment of certain lung disorders.
